Spring's Bounty

Cooking Class

 

Taught by Mary Minor Diehl

 


 

This menu makes good use of all the fresh fruits and veggies that start arriving in the spring.  We’ll use strawberries in our salad.  Then asparagus and freshly picked peas highlight our spring inspired risotto.  For dessert we will make Mary’s favorite pound cake and top it with a rhubarb sauce.  We will be making the most of spring’s bounty and enjoy all that it has to offer.

Mary Diehl ~ Did you know that Mary ran her husband's pediatric office, as well as two different delicatessens, the most infamous being teaching at Pepperberries for over a decade. She presents a broad array of food types, specializing in well-made, wonderful tasting food that is easy to prepare, because "Life is just too busy!"

  • Grilled chicken and a variety of toppings. Students will build their own ultimate chicken salad.
