Classic Vanilla Ice Cream

Nielsen-Massey Classic Vanilla Ice Cream

Everybody's favorite, and proof that there is nothing "plain" about vanilla!

 

1 pint whipping cream

1 pint half and half

1 cup sugar

1 tablespoon Nielsen-Massey Madagascar Bourbon Pure Vanilla Extract

1/8 teaspoon salt

 

Mix together all ingredients until the sugar is dissolved.  Follow manufacturer's directions to churn and freeze the ice cream.  Note:  to enhance any flavor of ice cream, add two teaspoons of Pure Vanilla Extract to your favorite recipe.  Organic Pure Vanilla or Pure Vanilla Bean Paste from Nielsen-Massey can be used in place of the Madagascar Bourbon Pure Vanilla Extract.
